IT Leaders 2023
What is Crossjoin Solutions’ main objective and mission?
Crossjoin is a leading international technology consultancy focused on optimising information systems. As such, our mission is to improve the day-to-day lives of our clients and people in general through technology. We seek to provide all organisations and companies with the guarantee that their systems are working within the capabilities for which they were designed and with the assurance that their entire environment, be it people, processes or technology, is optimised to guarantee the delivery of applications to the highest quality standards in the industry.
What are your company’s main areas of activity?
This focus translates into an offer of services that focus mainly on the following areas:
- Performance: we leverage the optimisation of our clients’ business processes, in firefighting scenarios, certification before production, or specialised application support, across technology and infrastructure.
- Infrastructure: in order to ensure that we focus on the correct maintenance and efficient operation of our clients’ database infrastructure and systems, we offer the following services
and systems, we offer database, cloud and application administration services with the characteristic of ensuring that performance is addressed from the outset. - Development: focused on optimising the entire software delivery lifecycle, we provide architecture, advisory and specialist development services that enable our clients’ teams to deliver faster while guaranteeing the best performance practices in the industry.

Given your success in the national and international market, how can we define your methodology/strategy?
Crossjoin’s success is the result of the quality of its delivery, reflected in the successive achievements that translate into adding value to its clients’ businesses.
As part of the success strategy built up over the years, the Competence Centre has been the key to success for the delivery of services involving multi-technology challenges. The nearshore or on-premise delivery model and methodology allows Crossjoin to competitively offer the “right sizing”, “right people” for the challenges without compromising on commitment and quality.
In the end, our success depends on the success of our clients and so far we have not disappointed. We are committed to working to improve and grow in a sustainable way.
And if so, what are the main advantages for clients in adopting your company’s services?
The main advantage is the guarantee of quality and excellence. We often hear from our clients that they sleep better at night knowing that they have us responsible for the operation of their systems. With the evolution of Crossjoin’s service, we not only guarantee the operation of IT systems in productive mode, but also the entire process and teams that are part of this life cycle. Our aim is not to replace any of these lifecycle elements, but to ensure that they all work in harmony, with the right methodologies, with the best market practices and that they deliver quickly and with quality.
Another advantage, which is related to the one above, is the expertise and transversal skills of our Competence Centre teams. With our service, our clients always have access to the best professionals and experts in the areas that need optimisation and improvement, with the ability to work on any system, technology or sector of activity.
How do you differentiate yourselves from the competition?
Since 2009, our focus on the performance market niche has been a differentiating factor, because it’s not easy to identify companies dedicated solely to performance services that are transversal to our clients’ technology and business.
The Competence Centre, which brings together the skills needed to respond to the challenges we face with more than 30 clients, geographically dispersed around the world, in various sectors, with large and complex systems involving the latest technological trends, allows us to ensure a timely response with quality and at a competitive price, since this pool of professional experts is shared by the various projects. The governance model of this pool, made up of layers of analysts, specialists and architects, allows us to create synergies between the various projects managed by delivery managers and technical service managers who are 100 per cent focused on the problems experienced by clients.
In addition to the above, Crossjoin also invests considerably in its academy, where there is a strong focus on capacity building, training and certification and recycling of talents or recently acquired talents, or updating the skills of our professionals.
Crossjoin Solutions puts observability at the centre of its services. What does this solution consist of?
In reality, what is now known as observability has been part of Crossjoin’s core since it was founded. Observability has always been essential for Crossjoin, and since 2009 it has been carried out using the data collection and visualisation tools and techniques used in the industry and suited to its clients’ software lifecycle. What has changed over time is that the tools used to capture system performance are increasingly complete and easy to use in order to obtain all the necessary monitoring. Their adoption by our customers has also increased substantially over time, largely due to the increasing adoption of SaaS products and migration to the cloud. For us, the observability solution involves helping our customers get the most out of these solutions because although these out-of-the-box solutions are a valuable aid in analysing IT systems, in most cases they expose too much information that isn’t always useful to the end user or there are some system instrumentation or business process challenges that aren’t always simple to solve. Today we have established partnerships with some strategic suppliers that position us as the best technological partner and integrator for observability solutions.
What advantages does it bring to companies?
Crossjoin’s observability solution has the great advantage of bringing all the know-how of analysing system performance that is part of Crossjoin’s DNA, so our customers can quickly gain better visibility and control of their IT systems. In a world where we are seeing more and more adoption of SaaS or cloud products, it is increasingly important for our clients to monitor the SLAs and response times of these applications, which are often only partially contracted with some suppliers and which bring to the table a greater ability to negotiate and analyse business problems. With Crossjoin they are guaranteed that this happens in the most efficient way, both in terms of cost and time.
