Sports are in our DNA

Our belief in the importance of a healthy lifestyle for both the mind and body drives us to continually encourage an active lifestyle among Crossers. In line with this commitment, we have implemented various initiatives to foster physical well-being within our organization. These include providing all employees with a monthly gym fee, partnering with Pulso to offer sessions of Yoga and labor gymnastics, and organizing engaging Happy Hours featuring exciting activities like the Women’s Race.

However, we wanted to do even more…

We sought to extend our commitment beyond the confines of our workplace and make a positive impact on our local community. That’s why we’re proud to announce the renewal and expansion of our sponsorships in the realm of sports.

Handball

We’re thrilled to continue our support for the Almada Women’s Handball Team, an inspiring group of athletes who have showcased exceptional determination and talent. We are equally delighted to extend our sponsorship to the Men’s Team, recognizing the importance of gender equality in sports.

Basket

We’ve recently welcomed a new team to our sponsorship family – the Basket Almada Club. They have been setting the courts ablaze with their skill and sportsmanship, and we’re eager to be part of their journey to success. The senior men’s team is in the first division of the national championship.

Athletics

Among the athletes we sponsor, we take great pride in supporting one of our very own – Tiago Graça, an exceptional talent in athletics. Tiago’s dedication and hard work serve as an inspiration to all of us, and we’re thrilled to stand behind him in his pursuit of greatness.

He has done 60 races from north to south of the country (and Poland), winning numerous medals!

Through our sponsorships, we aim to make a tangible difference in the lives of these athletes and our community. We envision a future where sports thrive, and local talents find the encouragement and resources they need to shine brightly.

PME Excellence 2020, for a team of excelence

“SME of Excellence 2020, for a team of excellence!”

2020 brought us, once again, an important recognition: SME of Excellence.

The status of SME Excellence is an initiative created with the aim of recognizing Portuguese small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) that are distinguished by the quality of their economic and financial performance and are able to achieve high competitive standards.

Within the scope of the selection made by IAPMEI and by Turismo de Portugal, Crossjoin was, once again, distinguished as an SME of excellence, having excelled for its performance and its contribution to the country.

Also recognized as SME Leader 2020 – in such a challenging year – being distinguished as SME Excellence makes us very proud of our journey and our team.

These awards are a reflection of all the work and dedication that is experienced daily at Crossjoin.

Between walks and runs, we all make a difference

We joined Upndo on a special mission!

At Crossjoin Solutions we care about the world around us, taking advantage of every opportunity that allows us to make a difference.

With the pandemic we adopted some less healthy habits, we became more sedentary and we did not always feel like going against this lifestyle, so we went in search of a motivation that would help us make an impact.

We discovered UPNDO, an app that associates physical movement with the company’s social responsibility and that allows us to convert our physical exercise into donations to institutions.

Starting today, all the steps we take will have an impact and contribute to a greater good.

At Crossjoin we are not indifferent to what’s around us, on the contrary, with this initiative we have decided to embrace several causes chosen by our crossers:

Disadvantaged children
Abandoned animals
Preservation of the environment
Fighting poverty

Last year, in 2020, we fulfilled the dream of a child who, unfortunately, is fighting a very dangerous disease. Make-A-Wish, an association that provides memorable moments to children diagnosed with serious degenerative diseases, challenged us in 2019, at christmas, to be a part of the Christmas magic and fill our hearts, united for the children’s happiness.

This year, through walks and runs, we promise to do our best and together make a difference.

Our crossers are motivated and we won’t stop until we perform to perfection!
